Fun, Exciting and Original!

This is one of my very old sketches, from the days when I had time to draw "serious" pictures. My inspiration for the top of this dress is Vivienne Westwood; I loved her idea of this triangular corset that stands up straight and yet looks elegant. So I combined that with a puffy skirt and loose sleeves. The colors could be changed and the dress could be worked on a bit more but I think it looks pretty cool this way too. I would definetely keep the puffy skirt as it is for a more Lady Gaga-ish look. The contrast of the colors also makes this dress look fun and original. I love it!
